Margaret leads the design and development of web applications for CEMSE, including their information architecture, user interface, and visual design. She collaborates with the Tool Development and Research and Evaluation teams to realize their visions for CEMSE’s online collaborative work environments, such as the Everyday Mathematics Virtual Learning Community and Researchers Without Borders. In addition, Margaret runs a math center for elementary-age children living at the SOS Children’s Village in Chicago. Before coming to Chicago, Margaret developed and managed web applications for AutoDesk, and taught high school math to at-risk students in San Francisco. She has a B.S. in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Michigan.
