Liz Lehman joined CEMSE in February 2009 and works with the Direct Services, Tool Development, and Research and Evaluation teams. Liz brings much science content expertise with her, having earned a PhD in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior in 2006 from Indiana University and a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago in 2000. Liz was previously with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, where she conducted many professional development programs for K-12 teachers and informal educators in Phoenix, AZ. In the Education Department at the Desert Botanical Garden, Liz educated K-8 students and teachers, and developed and taught Botany and other courses to volunteer docents.
