Courtney joined the CEMSE research team in January 2012. Prior to joining CEMSE, Courtney worked at the Battelle Center for Mathematics and Science Education Policy at The Ohio State University, and American Institutes for Research (AIR) in Washington DC. At CEMSE, Courtney works on the Ohio STEM Learning Network Implementation, Spread and Sustainability project and the Research and Evaluation of Mathematics and Science Implementation study. Additionally, Courtney is interested in utilizing visualization strategies and tools to not only identify meaningful patterns and information embedded in large bodies of data, but to also accelerate comprehension among different stakeholder groups. Courtney has an undergraduate degree in political science from Ohio State, and a M.Ed. in Social Foundations in Education from the University of Virginia.
