CEMSE Consulting Services

CEMSE provides a range of consulting services in mathematics and science education, including leadership training, research and evaluation, and teacher development. Leadership training and teacher development services are available to support the implementation of Everyday Mathematics, UCSMP's Pre-K to sixth grade program, and Science Companion, a comprehensive inquiry science program for grades K-5 developed by the Chicago Science Group. A wide range of research and evaluation services are available in mathematics education reform, from large scale surveys of instructional materials use, to measuring fidelity of implementation of materials, to individualized in-depth case studies of teacher and whole school change. CEMSE has experience conducting research and evaluation in preK-12 and informal educational settings. CEMSE's early childhood group also offers professional development and program support in math and science for early childhood teachers and classrooms.
