Cassie has just joined CEMSE, following completion of her Masters Degree in Education Organization and Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University. While in graduate school, Cassie conducted research for the RAND Corporation gathering data on New York City's implementation of Everyday Mathematics. Prior to attending Teachers College, Cassie received two undergraduate degrees from Emory University—a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a BA in Educational Studies. She has taught science at the elementary level and conducted and published research on primates.
