Our strategic planning services are characterized by partnerships between CEMSE and client districts and schools. We work with local leaders to develop long-range goals and design and implement comprehensive plans to improve their mathematics or science programs. These services often involve long-term collaborations. We specialize in supporting the implementation of Everyday Mathematics and Science Companion, but we can also focus on general topics related to high-quality mathematics and/or science instruction.
Leadership Consulting
Advising school and district leaders on long-range goals for their mathematics or science programs; analyzing strengths, weaknesses, and resources; and assisting with curriculum analysis and selection.
Implementation Planning and Support
Helping local leaders plan for and support implementation of Everyday Mathematics, Science Companion, or other approaches for inquiry-based mathematics or science instruction. Services may include developing local leadership capacity, planning and providing professional development, communicating with teachers and parents, designing systems for materials and resource management, and developing and implementing processes for analyzing and using student data. Special Projects and Tool Development
Collaborating with districts and schools to develop a range of curriculum-based tools, including pacing guides, vertical planning documents, resource guides, and state standard correlations.
Proposal Development
Assisting with grant-writing for projects that support high-quality mathematics and science education.
